Terms of service

Last updated: September 20, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the website, online store, products and related services operated by ORANEVIA (the “Store”) (collectively, the “Services”).

By purchasing products, creating an account or using the Services in another manner that requires agreement to these Terms, users are deemed to agree to these Terms.

Article 1 — Application

These Terms apply to all relationships between users and the Store concerning use of the Services and purchases of products.

The Returns and Refunds Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, disclosure under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, product-page usage conditions, licence conditions and other individual provisions form part of these Terms.

If these Terms conflict with individual provisions, the individual provisions take precedence.

Article 2 — Eligibility

Minors must obtain consent from a parent or other legal representative before using the Services or purchasing products.

Users must provide accurate, up-to-date information when ordering or otherwise using the Services.

Article 3 — Products

The Store may sell made-to-order physical products, audio, images, videos, wallpapers and other digital products.

Specifications, contents, prices, usage conditions, supported file formats and other details are displayed on each product page.

Article 4 — Orders and formation of the sales contract

A sales contract for an order is formed when the user completes the order process and the Store sends an order confirmation email or other notice acknowledging receipt of the order.

However, the Store may reasonably cancel all or part of an order and refund payments as necessary in any of the following cases:

  • Payment is not completed successfully
  • We discover that a product cannot be manufactured, procured or supplied
  • There is a significant error in the displayed price, product information, shipping charges or other information
  • We reasonably determine that use or an order is fraudulent or otherwise inappropriate
  • The user provides false or incomplete information
  • Delivery to the specified destination is not possible
  • Laws, these Terms or our policies are violated
  • Other reasonable grounds make fulfilment difficult

If an order is cancelled, we will contact you at your registered email address or by another appropriate method.

Article 5 — Prices and payment

Product prices, shipping charges, taxes and other costs are displayed on the product page or at checkout.

Users may use the payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payment is generally processed when the order is confirmed.

The actual timing of credit card or other payment service charges follows the payment provider's rules.

Unless the issue is attributable to the Store, problems with payment providers must be resolved between the user and the provider.

Article 6 — Made-to-order physical products

Production of physical products generally begins after order confirmation.

We therefore generally do not accept cancellations, size or design changes, exchanges or refunds after order confirmation for customer-related reasons.

Manufacturing, dispatch, delivery and other conditions are governed by the Shipping Policy and Returns and Refunds Policy.

Article 7 — Digital products

Digital products are provided after payment is completed through the order completion page, email or a method specified by the Store.

Users are responsible for obtaining and paying for the devices, software, communications environment and other requirements needed to download and use the products.

Due to the nature of digital products, we generally do not accept cancellations, returns or refunds for customer-related reasons after purchase completion or after download instructions have been sent.

Corrupted files, download failures, incorrect files and other defects are handled under the Returns and Refunds Policy.

Article 8 — Digital product licences

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights to the user.

The permitted scope of use is described on each product page or in the licence accompanying the product.

Unless the product page or accompanying terms explicitly permit commercial use, digital products are limited to private, non-commercial use by the purchaser personally.

Even where commercial use is permitted, users may not exceed the conditions and scope specified for the product.

Unless expressly permitted by the Store, users must not:

  • Resell, redistribute or transfer the digital product itself or substantially identical data
  • Share download links or files with third parties
  • Provide digital products in asset packs, templates, stock materials or other formats that third parties can reuse
  • Sublicense usage rights to third parties
  • Falsely claim to have created the work
  • Remove or alter copyright notices, watermarks, identifying information or other rights notices
  • Use products in a manner that violates laws, public order and morals, or third-party rights

Where usage conditions differ by product, the product page or accompanying licence conditions take precedence.

Article 9 — Intellectual property

Copyright, trademark rights and other intellectual property rights in images, music, videos, text, logos, designs, product data and other content on the Services belong to the Store or lawful third-party rights holders.

Unless permitted by law or expressly authorized by the Store, users must not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, publicly transmit, sell or otherwise use this content.

Article 10 — Returns, exchanges and refunds

Returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds are governed by the Returns and Refunds Policy.

Article 11 — Shipping

Manufacturing, dispatch, delivery, split shipments, customs duties, address errors and delivery delays for physical products are governed by the Shipping Policy.

Article 12 — Account management

Users who create a customer account are responsible for appropriately managing their login information.

Users must not allow third parties to use their account, or transfer, lend or share it.

Please contact the Store promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use.

Article 13 — Prohibited conduct

When using the Services, users must not:

  • Violate laws or public order and morals
  • Infringe the copyright, trademarks, privacy, reputation or other rights of the Store or third parties
  • Register or transmit false information
  • Impersonate others
  • Make unauthorized payments, fraudulent orders or improper payment reversals
  • Access the Services' systems without authorization
  • Transmit viruses or other harmful programs
  • Place excessive loads on the Services
  • Disrupt operation of the Services
  • Resell, share or redistribute digital products without permission
  • Use products or the Services for illegal, harmful or rights-infringing purposes
  • Violate these Terms or product-specific usage conditions
  • Engage in other comparable conduct

Article 14 — Suspension of use and order cancellation

If a user violates these Terms or we reasonably determine there is a risk of misuse, the Store may take necessary and reasonable measures, including cancelling orders, suspending accounts or stopping product supply.

The handling of amounts already paid will be determined based on the violation, product delivery status and applicable law.

Article 15 — Changes, interruption and termination of the Services

The Store may change, interrupt or terminate all or part of the Services due to maintenance, system failures, external service outages, natural disasters, communications failures, legal requirements or other unavoidable circumstances.

If ongoing orders are materially affected, we will reasonably notify users and, as necessary, provide alternatives, refunds or other appropriate remedies.

Article 16 — Product presentation

Colours in product images may differ from the actual product depending on the device or display settings, photography conditions or other circumstances.

Made-to-order products may have minor individual variations in dimensions, print placement, colours or other finishes arising from production.

Defects or issues that differ significantly from the product description will be handled under the Returns and Refunds Policy.

Article 17 — Disclaimers and liability

Except where legally liable, the Store is not responsible for damage caused by delivery delays, communications failures, external service outages, natural disasters or other circumstances not attributable to the Store.

Where users suffer damage attributable to the Store, we are liable in accordance with applicable law.

The limitations or exclusions of liability in these Terms do not apply to intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Store, harm to users' life or physical safety, or other cases where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Article 18 — External services

The Services use Shopify, payment providers, product manufacturing/shipping providers, digital delivery providers and other external services.

The terms, privacy policies and other conditions of these providers may apply to the use of their services.

Article 19 — Personal information

The Store handles users' personal information under our separate Privacy Policy.

Article 20 — Changes to these Terms

Where reasonably necessary because of legal changes, changes to the Services or other reasons, the Store may amend these Terms in accordance with applicable law, considering the need for the change and the appropriateness of the revised provisions.

For significant changes, we will announce the changes and effective date on this website, by email or another appropriate method.

Article 21 — Severability

If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under law, the remaining provisions remain effective.

Article 22 — Governing law and dispute resolution

Japanese law applies to these Terms and the Services.

If a dispute arises in connection with the Services, the user and the Store will discuss it in good faith and seek a resolution.

If discussions do not resolve the dispute, it will be resolved before a Japanese court with jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.
